Western Springs Police Reports: DUI, Identity Theft, Car Burglary

Western Springs Police arrested Ricardo Urquizo, age 31 of 701 Adams St., Bolingbrook, IL, for driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding on Nov. 10, according to the Western Springs Police arrest summary. Police stopped Urquizo for speeding. Urquizo was arrested at Ogden Avenue and Interstate 294 after he failed field performance tests, according to the summary.

Western Springs Police arrested Christopher A Porm, age 29 of 2614 Highland Ave, Berwyn, IL, for driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding on Nov. 15, according to the Western Springs Police arrest summary. Police stopped Porm for speeding, and Porm failed field performance tests. He was arrested at Ogden Avenue and Ellington Avenue, according to the summary.

An identity thief opened a Verizon Wireless account in Sept. 2014 using a victim’s name, according to the Western Springs Police crime report summary. The thief charged $1,749.76 to the account, and the crime was reported on Oct. 31.

A burglar stole a GPS from an unlocked vehicle Nov. 12 on the 5200 block of Wolf Road, according to the Western Springs Police crime report summary. The GPS was worth $120.
