Western Springs Police Reports: Possession of Cannabis, Crash with Minor Injury

Western Springs police arrested two female juveniles on Dec. 11 from Lyons Township South High School.
One defendant is 15 years old from Brookfield, IL. She was arrested for possession of a small amount of suspected cannabis and for possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police.

The other defendant is 15 years old of La Grange. She was charged with possession of a small amount of suspected cannabis, according to police.

A 56-year-old man was brought to Hinsdale Hospital with minor injuries Dec. 9 after a crash at Ogden Avenue near Woodland Avenue, according to Western Springs police. A 66-year-old man was driving a 2007 Chrysler Sebring eastbound in the center lane on Ogden Avenue when his car hit the other man’s car, also going eastbound in the center lane. Both men were wearing seat belts.
