Western Springs Recreation Department Hiring For Summer Positions

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — The Western Springs Recreation Department is looking for people to work summer positions for camp, sports camp and tennis programs. The department said applicants should be 16 years of age or will need a school work permit if 14 or 15 years of age. Applications will be accepted until April 1.

For the tennis staff, the department said varsity tennis experience is preferred. There are various positions ranging from tennis center entry-level staff to instructors responsible for teaching classes.

For summer camp staff, assistant and lead counselor positions are needed. Applicants should have the desire to work with children and able to work outdoors. Lastly for summer sports staff, the department said it is look for instructors who will work with various yoth and adult sports leagues and classses. Applicants should have a desire to work with children and able to be outdoors. Seeking individuals with well-rounded sports interest and knowledge.
