Western Springs Restaurant Damaged: Cops

An unidentified teenager is believed to be behind the vandalism.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs police released their latest blotter Monday. Here is information from the reports:

  • An unidentified teenager slashed the upholstered seats using a pocket knife June 6 at Subway restaurant, 4700 Gilbert Ave.
  • A bay window was broken by a rock in the 4500 block of Central Avenue. The report was filed Friday.
  • A garbage can in the 5200 block of Howard Street was reported damaged June 6.
  • Georgiana Draghici, 22, of Chicago, was cited about 8:30 p.m. June 2 at Mariano's grocery store, 4700 Gilbert Ave, on a charge of retail theft.
