Western Springs Woman Drives Without License: Cops

In another case, a student was charged with possession of marijuana on South Campus.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:

No license

  • A 51-year-old woman from the 3900 block of Franklin Avenue in Western Springs was arrested about 5:30 a.m. Friday at Franklin and Hillgrove avenues on charges of driving without a valid driver's license and disobeying a stop sign.

Marijuana

  • A student was cited last week on a charge of possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana at Lyons Township High School's South Campus, 4900 Willow Springs Road.

Driving violations

  • A 29-year-old man from Gurnee was cited about 9:30 a.m. Oct. 3 in the 800 block of Ogden Avenue on charges of possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana and driving with an expired registration.
  • A 25-year-old woman from Brookfield was cited about 2 p.m. Saturday at Ogden Avenue and Wolf Road on charges of possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana and driving with an expired registration.
  • A 28-year-old man from Bridgeview was cited about 2:30 p.m. Saturday on charges of possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana and driving with an expired registration.
  • A 37-year-old woman from Chicago was arrested about 5:30 p.m. Friday at Ogden and Franklin avenues on charges of driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance.
