Western Springs Woman Faces Domestic Battery Charge: Cops
She was arrested five days after the incident took place in a local neighborhood, police said.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:
Domestic battery
- A 24-year-old woman who lives in the 4200 block of Gilbert Avenue in Western Springs was arrested Thursday on a charge of domestic battery. The incident occurred Feb. 3 at her house. She was taken to the Bridgeview courthouse.
Stolen bike

- A locked bicycle was stolen between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Feb. 6 at a bike rack near the train depot, 914 Burlington Ave. The bike was valued at $300.
Fraud
- A resident in the 4200 block of Garden Avenue told police Feb. 5 that someone used her credit card information to book a Vrbo short-term rental.

- A 31-year-old Lombard woman was arrested about 4 p.m. Feb. 5 at Wolf Road and 47th Street on a charge of driving on a suspended license. She was released.
- A 20-year-old Chicago woman was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Feb. 5 at Ogden and Gilbert avenues on charges of driving without a valid license and driving with one headlight. She was released.
- A 23-year-old Chicago woman was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of Wolf Road on charges of driving without a valid license and speeding. She was released.
- A male juvenile was arrested about 10 p.m. Friday at Ogden and Franklin avenues on charges of driving without a valid license and driving with an expired registration. He was released.
