WS Recreation 4th & 5th Grade Summer Basketball League

The Western Springs Recreation Department will offer an opportunity for competitive league play for all youth going into 4th & 5th grade. Your child will feel the thrill of competition, and the challenge of sharpening their basketball skills. Teams will be formed for balance to make fun and learning the priority in this league. All who register on time will be placed on a team. The teams will be grade and gender specific.

The league fee includes: practice times, league games, jerseys, referees, and mementos. Player evaluations will be Wednesday, May 27, 6:30-7:30 pm or Sunday, May 31, 1:00-2:00 pm. Practice begins the week of June 1 and weekly night games (Tues, Wed, & Thurs) will start the week of June 16.

Parent volunteers you are needed! If you are interested in coaching, please note the Volunteer Coaches meeting is Monday, May 18, 6:30 pm at the Rec Center.
