In another case, three youths were cited for reckless conduct on electric bicycles.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs police released their latest blotter. Here is information from the reports:

Disorderly conduct

  • A youth was cited about 10:30 p.m. Aug. 10 on a disorderly conduct charge. Police said they were called about a youth on the roof at the Garden Market Shopping Center, 4700 Gilbert Ave., where Mariano's is.

Reckless conduct

  • Three youths were cited on reckless conduct charges about 3 p.m. Aug. 12 at 55th Street and Lawn Avenue. They were seen riding electric dirt bikes in traffic.

Car burglaries

  • Four unlocked cars were reported ransacked Thursday in Western Springs. Nothing was reported stolen. The burglaries were in the 4500 Grand Avenue, 4100 Howard Avenue and 4700 Central Avenue.

  • A car was reported scratched about 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the back of the parking lot at the Garden Market Shopping Center, 4700 Gilbert Ave., where Mariano's is.
