2 Injured After Car Hits Semi-Truck On West Side
One of the drivers was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.

CHICAGO — Two drivers were injured in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side Wednesday morning, police said. One of the drivers was in critical condition, authorities said. The crash happened around 3:47 a.m. in the 1000 block of South Cicero, police said.
A Ford Mustang was traveling north at a high speed when it hit a bump in the road and lost control, police said. The car then crossed over the median and hit a semi-truck, according to police.
The Mustang's driver was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
