2nd Video Surfaces After Cop Kicks Drug Suspect
Witness who took initial video will send to Justice Dept. because he doesn't trust the CPD.
CHICAGO, IL - A viral Facebook video depicting a police officer who kicked a man in the head on a West Side street Monday will be sent directly to the Justice Department as a new video surfaced showing the moments after more police arrived on the scene.
The new footage appears to show the moments after the man, reported by media on Tuesday as 24-year-old Shaquille O’Neal, was knocked unconscious by a kick to the head, according to an NBC report.
Likely charges against O'Neal include aggravated battery to a peace officer, resisting peace officer, possession of a controlled substance and reckless conduct, according to NBC.

One officer involved in the incident has been placed on desk duty as an investigation by the city’s Independent Police Review Authority unfolds.

The bystander who shot the first video, which showed the kick, has vowed to turn the footage over the the United States Justice Department, and not the Chicago Police Department because he doesn’t trust the city, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
The initial video has been viewed more than 500,000 times on Facebook.
