3 Charged In West Town Robbery, Assault

A man was beaten and robbed on Wood Street near Grand Avenue, police said.

CHICAGO, IL — Two men and a 16-year-old boy were charged with felony counts of robbery after an attack in West Town April 18, police said. The robbery happened in the 500 block of North Wood Street around 1:45 p.m., according to police. The three offenders got out of a vehicle and began to punch and beat a 25-year-old man, police said.

The three knocked the victim to the ground and took his wallet, police said.

Nautica Thompson, 20, was identified through video surveillance on April 25 in Broadview, police said. Montrial Foster, 19, and the 16-year-old boy were arrested on April 29, police said.
