4 Chicago Cops Hurt When Squad Cars Collide on West Side

An unmarked car turning off Washington Boulevard sideswiped another law enforcement vehicle.

CHICAGO, IL - Two unmarked Chicago police squad cars crashed into each other Tuesday night on the West Side, injuring all four officers involved.

One of the cars was turning left onto Kenton Avenue from Washington Boulevard in Garfield Park just before 10:30 p.m. when it sideswiped the other car, according to CBS-Chicago.

All injuries were minor. The police officers were hospitalized after the crash, but all have been released.
