Car Pursued By Cops Hits Woman, 60, And Keeps Going
The woman was struck Thursday night in the Honan Square neighborhood, and she was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital.

CHICAGO, IL — A 60-year-old woman was hit by a car that was fleeing police trying to pull over the driver Thursday in the Honan Square neighborhood, the Chicago Tribune reports.
The accident happened just before 10:35 p.m. Thursday, March 16, the report stated. Police tried to pull over the driver of a black sedan in the 1300 block of South Kedzie Avenue, the report added.
Instead of stopping, the sedan's driver continued traveling north with officers in pursuit, the report stated. As the sedan made it to the 800 block of South Kedzie, the car struck a woman who was in the street at the time and kept driving after hitting her, the report added.

The woman was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, and her injuries were said to be "non-life threatening," according to the Tribune.
