Cell Phone Store Owner Shoots Armed Robber
The owner of a store jumped into action when he saw two of his employees were getting robbed.

CHICAGO, IL - A cell phone store owner on the West Side jumped into action last Thursday when he saw two of his employees getting robbed.
The store owner was inside a grocery store he also owns near the 200 block of North Kedzie when a 17-year-old entered the cell phone store armed with a weapon and attempted to rob two clerks, according to a report from CBS-Chicago.
The owner ran over to the robber and pulled his own weapon, but told the TV station that the suspect began firing. The store owner returned fire and struck the suspect in the shoulder, according to the report.
