Cicero Man Wanted for Shooting Death 'Armed and Dangerous,' Cops Say

Cicero police said 19-year-old suspect shot another man to death in street confrontation on Aug. 20.

CICERO, IL -- An arrest warrant was issued for a 19--year-old Cicero man who is wanted for the shooting death of another man in the early morning hours of Aug. 20. Cicero police say the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.

According to police, the suspect -- Victor Martinez -- confronted 22-year-old Julio Serving around 3:20 a.m. Witnesses told police that Servin was walking with friends near 23rd Street and Central Avenue when he was shot.

Martinez is described as a Hispanic male, about 5-feet-9-inches tall, 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. His last known address is in Cicero.

Anyone with information about Martinez’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Detectives Division of the Cicero Police Department at 708-652-2130 or 911.

The arrest warrant is active for first degree murder.
