Cops Host Back to School Celebration for Children in Austin Neighborhood
Stop by the Chicago Police 15th District station on Monday, Aug. 29, for free haircuts, school supplies and physicals.
CHICAGO, IL -- 15th Dist. Chicago Police, Chicago Public Schools Network, Austin elementary schools and CAPS are hosting a back-to-school celebration to get Austin children ready for a successful new school year.
The celebration takes place from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29, at the 15th District police station, 5701 W. Madison St.
Students will be able to receive free haircuts, school supplies and physicals. There will also be food, raffles games and more.
