Missing Elderly Couple from Logan Square Located: UPDATED

Chicago police said couple were driving a green 2000 Kia

CHICAGO, IL, Update -- Chicago police announced that Wildredo and Francisca Soler were located and were reunited with their family.

Original story -- An elderly couple were reported missing from Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood on Sept. 11. Wilfredo Soler, 91, and his 86-year-old Francisca Soler were last seen around 10:30 a.m. Sunday from the 1900 block of West Albany Avenue.

Mr. Soler is driving a green 2000 KIA Sophia 4-door sedan with an Illinois plate number J296429. He was last seen wearing a tan baseball cap, blue striped polo shirt and green sweat pants.

Mrs. Soler was last seen wearing a pink flowered shirt and pink sweat pants. Police said the couple have been known to frequent the Kmart store at Addison and Sacramento, Dollar Tree stores in the area, and the Brickyard Mall at 2600 W. Narragansett Ave., Chicago.

Wilfredo Soler, 91, and his 86-year-old Francisca Soler, 86, were reported missing from Logan Square on Sept. 11.

The couple do not have cell phones.
