Foreman College and Career Academy has first McTeacher's Night

Teachers work at McDonald's during McTeacher's Night to raise money for their school

Foreman College and Career Academy held their first ever McTeacher's Night Fundraiser at the Chicago McDonald's on Diversey Ave. on Wednesday, April 18th. A McTeacher's Night is organized to help raise money for local schools by having teachers work at McDonald's and then giving a percentage of the night's sales back to the local school. What an amazing night for Foreman.
The restaurant was taken over by twenty-seven Foreman teachers and administrative staff! The entire Foreman staff was excited to serve freshly prepared meals to students and their families. Teachers handed out orders, cleaned tables, made ice cream treats, served drinks, prepared fries and even dressed up in a Pie costume. Bobby Newman worked the fries and Ms. Malhas was making drinks. All the teachers were singing for tips. Principal Issa and Assistant Principal Herrera-Padilla were also both in attendance.

McTeacher's Giannopoulos, Malhas and Taylor all dressed in the Pie outfit and what a blast they had mingling with all the families and taking pictures with the students. A Special appearance by school mascot the Hornet made the night extra special.

Foreman plans to put the money in a general fund to go towards tech equipment needed for the school.
A special thank you goes to Jr. Army ROTC Teacher Lars Jacobson, who organized the event as well as everyone who worked and attended.
