Life Threatening Injuries Sustained, Car Sought In Hit-And-Run
A person who was hit by a car on the West Side of Chicago suffers life threatening injuries as police look for the car and driver involved.

CHICAGO, IL - Police in Chicago's 11th District are looking for the driver of a car involved in a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured someone. The person was hit by the car shown in the image above at 2:42 p.m. Jan. 12, according to a police news alert. The person sustained life threatening injuries.
The car is a grey SUV, possibly a Dodge, according to police. It may have front-end damage and could be missing a front driver's side hubcap. Its last known location was on Independence Boulevard, heading south from Harrison Street in the city's Homan Square neighborhood on the West Side.
Anyone with information on the car or who may have been driving it should contact detectives at the Chicago Police Department's Major Accident Investigation Unit at 312-745-4521.
