Man Found Beaten To Death In West Side Alley
Witnesses said police didn't allow them to perform CPR on the man, according to a report.

CHICAGO, IL — A man was beaten to death in the Austin neighborhood Wednesday night, according to police. The 29-year-old man was found at 9:38 p.m. in the 5100 block of West Lake, police said. He had been hit in the chest and head with a weapon and was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
The victim has been identified as Kim Edmondson, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. He lived in the Austin neighborhood, officials said.
Witnesses said the victim walked up to them and collapsed, according to a report by ABC 7. The witnesses said that police officers refused to let them perform CPR on the man, according to the report.
