Man Shot In Head While Driving On Northwest Side

CHICAGO, IL — Police were investigating a shooting in West Humboldt Park Sunday. A man was shot in the head while he was driving in the 1300 block of North Kildare, according to police. The shooting happened at 7:54 p.m., police said.

Finner Bryant, 37, was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said. He was pronounced dead at 4:46 a.m. Monday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

A 22-year-old woman was a passenger in the vehicle, and was not injured, police said.

Few details have been released about the circumstances of shooting. No one was in custody.
