Man Shot In Heart Of Chicago Neighborhood
A 24-year-old was shot while he was inside a vehicle on South Damen, police said.
CHICAGO, IL — A man was shot on the city's West Side Tuesday evening, police said. The shooting happened in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood, police said. The 24-year-old was inside a parked vehicle in the 1800 block of South Damen Avenue around 7:40 p.m., when shots were fired, according to police.
The man was shot in his shoulder and neck, police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was listed as stable, police said.
No one was in custody.
