Man Shot Multiple Times By Girlfriend On West Side: Police

CHICAGO — A man was shot multiple times by his girlfriend Sunday on the West Side, police said. The two were involved in a domestic altercation around 9:05 p.m. in the South Austin neighborhood, according to police.

The 59-year-old man was shot multiple times in his abdomen and chest in a home in the 4800 block of West Gladys Avenue, police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in stable condition, authorities said.

The girlfriend was taken in for questioning. Area North detectives were investigating.
