Man Stabbed To Death In West Side Apartment

CHICAGO, IL — A 31-year-old man was found with multiple stab wounds in his West Side apartment Friday, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The man was found by his roommate around 10 p.m. in the Austin neighborhood, according to authorities.

Police were called to the victim's apartment on North Parkside near Madison and Central, according to authorities.

The victim has been identified as 31-year-old Marvin Pierce, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

No one was in custody, and the investigation was ongoing.
