CHICAGO, IL — A mother has been charged with unlawful restraint after illegally taking her daughter from Little Village on Saturday, police said. Authorities sent out an alert on Saturday seeking the public's help finding Alma Villalobos, 5, and she was returned to her grandmother and father late Saturday evening, police said. The father has full custody of the child, police said.

Her biological mother, Susette Reynosa, 22, took her daughter from the 3700 block of West 26th St. around noon on Saturday, police said. The father's relative was walking with the little girl, when Reynosa approached and took the girl into a car and drove off, according to police.

Reynosa later returned to her home with the child and was placed into custody, police said. The girl was returned safely to her father and grandmother.
