North Lawndale Man Robbed, Shot 58-Year-Old Victim Multiple Times: Cops
Jeffery Randle, 33, is being held without bailed after being charged in connection with the incident last month.

CHICAGO, IL — A North Lawndale man is accused of shooting another man multiple times during an armed robbery last month, according to Chicago police.
Jeffery Randle, 33, of the 1000 block of North Harding Avenue, was arrested and charged Tuesday with felony armed robbery and felony aggravated battery in connection with the Nov. 13 incident. He is being held without bail at Cook County Jail.
At about 9:30 p.m. Nov. 13, a 58-year-old man was shot and wounded in the 3900 block of West Cermak Road while being robbed, police said. The man suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition.

Reports at the time claimed two men confronted the victim. There was no mention of a second suspect in Tuesday's police statement. Police did not release any other details about the incident.
