Outbound Ike Crash Takes Up 2 Lanes Near Sacramento
Traffic on outbound I-290 is getting by in the right two lanes after a crash reported at 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday.

CHICAGO, IL -- Anyone heading from the city into the west suburbs Wednesday morning should be aware of a crash that has taken up two lanes of the outbound Eisenhower Expressway.
WGN Traffic and others on Twitter reported the crash occurred around 7:15 a.m. on I-290 near Sacramento Boulevard on the city's West Side. A photo taken from the scene shows firetrucks and a tow truck in the two right lanes where the crash occurred while traffic is still getting by in the two left lanes.
With most traffic on I-290 headed inbound this time of day, backups may be minimal.
