Rifle-Wielding Bicyclist Shoots Victim On West Side
Chicago police said a 32-year-old man was shot by a gunman on a bicycle who pulled out a rifle.

CHICAGO, IL - A gunman on Chicago's West Side late Thursday morning was armed with a rifle when he shot and killed a 32-year-old man, according to a notification from the Chicago Police Department.
The fatal victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the chest after he was shot in the 1300 block of South Troy Street.
Police said the shooter was on a bicycle at 11:44 a.m. and removed a rifle from a backpack to shoot the victim. The victim was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital.

CPD's Area Central Detectives are investigating the incident. As of 1:15 p.m., no arrests have been made.
