Siblings Found After Not Returning Home From West Side School

The teenage brother and sister were reunited Monday after being reported missing over the weekend.

CHICAGO, IL — A brother and sister on the West Side were reunited with their family after being reported missing over the weekend, according to a department alert.

Genesis Glass, 14, and Zander Glass, 13, had been last seen Friday, Oct. 7, leaving from the 800 block of West Lawrence Avenue, Chicago police reported. The teens were on their way to Morton School of Excellence, 431 N. Ave., but didn't return home that night. An alert for the teens was sent out by police Sunday night.

At around 9:30 a.m. Monday, police reported that the siblings had been found and returned home.
