Teens Robbing, Beating And Shooting People With BB Guns

CHICAGO, IL — Teenagers are robbing, beating and shooting people with BB guns in the Logan Square neighborhood, according to police. The robberies happened between Sept. 26 and Sept. 27 on North St. Louis Avenue, North Drake Avenue, and North Central Park Avenue. Police said between two to four boys wearing hoodies have been assaulting people.

The first assault happened around 8:40 p.m. in the 1300 block of North Central Avenue Sept.26. Police said two teens approached a woman and demanded her phone, and after she handed it to them, they shot her in the stomach.

Then on Sept. 27 around 8:45, four teens went up to a man in the 1900 block of North Drake Avenue. The four demanded his belongings, then pushed him to the ground, beat him, and shot him in the head with a BB gun, according to police.

Ten minutes later, four teens demanded belongings from a man and woman walking in the 1900 block of North St. Louis, then took their things before threatening to shoot the woman, police said.
