Tolliver was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police have not released details on what the two men were arguing about or if they knew each other before their dispute at the Red Line station.

A non-fatal shooting occurred later Monday near Tolliver's home in the 6500 block of South Maplewood Avenue, which is around five miles from where Tolliver was killed, according to the Chicago Tribune. A 25-year-old man was shot in the groin as he was walking in an alley in the area at about 6:25 p.m., the report stated. The man was taken to the hospital, where he's still being treated.
