Woman Stabbed To Death On West Side

CHICAGO — A woman was found stabbed to death Tuesday night on the West Side, police said. The woman, believed to be around 50 years old, was found in the 3100 block of West Taylor in the North Lawndale neighborhood, according to police.

Officers responded to a call of a person down at 11:11 p.m. and found the woman with stab wounds to her neck and head, police said.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The woman was not immediately identified by authorities. Area North detectives were investigating.
