Woman In Custody After Abducting 5-Month-Old Son From West Side
Police issued a community alert asking for any information that would lead to their whereabouts.
CHICAGO, IL — A woman is now in custody after she abducted her baby son from the Austin neighborhood on Sunday, police said. Police said they have located Mary N. Johnson, 38, and her 5-month-old son Ryan Johnson. Police said the two were last seen in the 4800 block of West Monroe when the alert was issued.
A child protection warrant was issued for the baby boy, and police were asked to bring him to the Department of Child and Family Services at 5001 S. Michigan Avenue, police said.
