2 Men Wanted In Connection With 2022 Armed Robbery In Wheaton

Police are asking the public for help finding two men they say were involved in an armed robbery at T-Mobile last year.

WHEATON, IL — Wheaton police are asking residents for help finding two people who were involved in an armed robbery at T-Mobile last May.

Darius Combs, 31, of Cicero, and Brandon Melton, 31, of Dolton, are both wanted on armed robbery and armed habitual criminal charges in connection with the incident.

Police say Combs, pictured above on the right, may be driving a Ford van with expired license plate number 86-AA-610. Melton has also been seen driving a Ford van with Indiana license plates 580EGM.

Police were called to the T-Mobile store on 801 E. Butterfield Rd. around 10:20 a.m. on May 31, 2022, after three men came into the store with guns demanding cash and merchandise. The men restrained the store's employees. A fourth man was later identified as having been involved in the robbery, police said.

Imari Paxton, 24, of Chicago, and Marcus Melton, 28, of Lafayette, Indiana, have since been arrested and charged in connection with the robbery.
