3 Cats Saved As Fire Displaces Family From Home In Warrenville

WARRENVILLE, IL — A fire displaced a Warrenville family from their home Sunday morning, but two cats were saved by firefighters.

Fire crews were called to the 3S500 Block of West Avenue just before 10:15 a.m. for a report of a blaze. When they arrived, they found flames in the back of the home.

Firefighters were able to control the flames within 50 minutes and save two of the family's cats.

The home was deemed uninhabitable and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
