$50K Winning Powerball Ticket Sold At Thornton's In West Chicago

WEST CHICAGO, IL — A lucky Illinois Lottery player will cash in on $50,000 after buying a Powerball ticket at the Thornton's at 1330 W. Neltnor Blvd. in West Chicago.

The winning ticket was one of 11 sold throughout the state in which players matched four numbers and the Powerball number in the Nov. 7 drawing that made history with a jackpot of $2.04 billion. That jackpot-winning ticket was sold in California.

The winning numbers for the Nov. 7 drawing were 10, 33, 41, 47 and 56. The Powerball Number was 10.

Two Illinois players won $100,000 in Aurora and North Aurora after matching four numbers and the Powerball and selecting the game's Power Play option.

According to Illinois Lottery, 400,000 winning tickets were sold ahead of the drawing. Another ticket that won $50,000 was sold at a 7-Eleven in Downers Grove.
