$9.3M In Facility Upgrades Now Underway At District 200 Schools
The renovations are part of $9.3 million in capital facilities projects that were approved by District 200 in November.
WHEATON, IL — District 200 has started work on its $9.3 million in capital facility projects that were set for this summer.
Crews have already begun work on the following projects:
- Flooring replacement at Longfellow Elementary
- New front parking lot at Wheaton North High School
- Library Learning Center upgrades at Whittier Elementary

- Flooring at Sandburg and Hawthorne Elementary Schools
- Roofing at Wheaton North High School and Hawthorne Elementary
- Paving work at Wheaton-Warrenville South High School
- Maintenance at Washington and Lowell Elementary Schools
District 200 is also moving forward with playground work at Bower and Lowell Elementary Schools as part of its ongoing initiative to replace its elementary school playgrounds.
