WHEATON, IL — Crews will continue to work throughout the week to clean up branches, limbs and other debris caused by Monday's high winds and storms.

The cleanup applies to parkway trees that are owned by the City of Wheaton, per an update from city officials.

The storm caused "a significant number of power outages" in the city, the update said. As of midnight on Tuesday, it was estimated power had been restored to 96 percent of residents in Wheaton, with ComEd working to restore the remainder.

Residents can click the link to request service for a damaged city-owned parkway tree.
