Performers Encouraged To Make The City Their Stage During Make Music Wheaton

The festival, part of the international Make Music Day, is looking for musicians of all experience levels for the multi-event celebration.

WHEATON, IL — Performers of all levels of experience are encouraged to sign up for Make Music Wheaton. The event, slated for June 21, is part of the international Make Music Day, and will bring live performances to dozens of venues throughout the city.

Live music will be played at the Liberty and Main Pavilion, at the Town Square, at Adams Park and in stores, restaurants and bars. The festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Musicians can click the link to sign up for Make Music Wheaton and will be paired with a venue. Venues are also encouraged to register for the festival to host their own live performances.

The first Make Music Day took place in France more than 40 years ago. In 2025, Wheaton was still among just three locations in Illinois to participate.
