WHEATON, IL — Cars were burglarized in the driveway of a home, a camera was vandalized and other crimes were reported on the most recent blotter from the Wheaton Police Department.

Police say someone burglarized cars that were parked in the driveway of a home in the 500 block of Williston Street. The victim told police money had been stolen from the cars. The incident took place between 8 p.m. on June 27 and 5 a.m. on June 28.

Scooter Stolen from Bike Rack

An electric scooter was stolen from a bike rack at Rice Community Pool, 1777 Blanchard St. Police say the scooter was locked to the rack and was stolen between 1:30 p.m. and 4:10 p.m. on June 30.

Traffic Cameras Vandalized

A Flock license plate reader camera was vandalized with spray paint near the intersection of Front Street and Ellis Avenue around 5:36 p.m. on July 1. Police say the camera's wires were also damaged in the incident.
