DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — The DuPage County Sheriff's Office is displaying a Memorial Wall to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and subsequent war, along with military personnel, police officers and firefighters.
The wall will be on display throughout the month of September in the lobby of the sheriff's office at 501 N. County Farm Rd.
"As Law Enforcement we honor and respect our first responders and Armed Forces who tirelessly protect us every day," DuPage County Sheriff James Mendrick said.
He added, "This is a day of remembrance to honor those whom made the ultimate sacrifice."
