WHEATON, IL — Crews will use a fogging machine to spray mosquito deterrent in Wheaton on Sept 3.
The mosquito spraying will be performed by Clarke Mosquito Control.
The fogging will begin around dusk and is expected to be done by 2 a.m., the city's website said. Residents who have questions can call Clarke Mosquito Control at 1-800-942-2555.
The mosquito spray treatment comes shortly after DuPage County Health Department announced that the season's first human case of West Nile Virus had been confirmed in the county.
