DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — The DuPage County Sheriff's Office issued more than 60 tickets during its recent Labor Day traffic safety campaign.
They also made one arrest for aggravated speeding.
The breakdown of the citations issued is as follows.
"Through the Labor Day safety campaign, we helped to make our roads safer and spread the word about the risks of impaired driving – 'It's Not a Game,'" remarked DuPage County Sheriff James Mendrick.
The Labor Day safety campaign, which began Aug. 14 and ran through Sept. 7, is part of the statewide "Click It or Ticket" and "Drive Sober of Get Pulled Over" initiatives.
