WARRENVILLE, IL — Loyola Medicine recently announced plans to build a three-story ambulatory care center in Warrenville. The 100,000 square foot facility will be located at 28301 Ferry Rd. and will have 60 exam rooms where patients can receive care in over 30 surgical and medical specialties.
These specialties include:
The ambulatory care center is funded, in part, by a $120 million investment via Trinity Health.
"Healthcare continues to move closer to where people live and work, and this investment positions Loyola Medicine to meet that demand for decades to come," Shawn P. Vincent, president and CEO of Trinity Health's Illinois/Indiana Region, shared in a stratement.
Vincent added, "By bringing together primary care, specialty care, advanced imaging, ambulatory surgery and other essential services in one location, we are creating a destination that will enhance access, convenience and the patient experience throughout the region.
At the new ambulatory care center, patients will also have access to mammography, X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, MRIs, an infusion center and an ambulatory surgery center. There will also be a retail pharmacy onsite.
It's projected that the ambulatory care center project will break ground in 2027, with a tentative opening date sometime in 2029.
