Detours To Take Effect On Manchester Road, Bridge Street In Wheaton

WHEATON, IL — Detours will be in effect on parts of Bridge Street and Manchester Road as crews perform resurfacing work.

The following detours will be in effect.

• On Bridge Street, there will be a detour from Manchester Road to Liberty Drive
• On Manchester Road, there will be a detour from Gables Boulevard to Bridge Street

The detours will be in effect from 9 a.m. Friday until the oil application dries and from 7 a.m. Saturday until the end of the day, city officials said in an update.

Detour signs will be posted and commuters are advised to seek alternative routes.
