Applications Open For Financial Assistance For Seniors In Wheaton
The program offers monthly financial assistance for eligible Wheaton residents who are 65 and older.

WHEATON, IL — Applications are now open for Wheaton's Senior Assistance Program, which offers financial aid for eligible senior residents who are 65 and older.
To be considered, applicants must be a current resident of incorporated Wheaton who has lived in the city for the past three years, consecutively. Other criteria include:
- Must live in Wheaton resident nine or more months out of the year
- Must have a household income less than or equal to $32,050
- Must not be receiving assistance from DuPage Housing Authority or via Section 8
Once the applications are reviewed, those who are eligible for approval must take part in an interview that is conducted in person in their home.
