Art Walk To Cause Road Closures In Wheaton
Road closures will be in effect as juried artwork and live entertainment fill Liberty Drive in Wheaton Aug. 6 and Aug. 7.
WHEATON, IL — Road closures will be in effect this weekend as the 2022 Wheaton Art Walk comes to Liberty Drive. The free event is slated for Aug. 6 and Aug. 7 and will also involve temporary parking lot closures.
Liberty Drive will be closed to traffic from Wheaton Avenue to Main Street as of 7 p.m. on Aug. 5 until 10 p.m. Aug. 7. Hale Street will also be closed to northbound traffic at Liberty Drive during this time.
Commuters are encouraged to take alternate routes to avoid delays.

The following parking lot closures are effective from 9 p.m. Aug. 4 until 10 p.m. Aug. 7:
- Municipal lot 4 on Liberty Drive
- Municipal lot 5 on Liberty Drive
The 2022 Wheaton Art Walk will feature more than 80 artists displaying their work in a juried competition from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 6 and Aug. 7. The event will also feature live music.
