ATM Stolen From Wheaton VFW Post During Break-In

WHEATON, IL — The DuPage County Sheriff's Office is investigating a burglary that took place at the Wheaton VFW Post 2164 located at 0N731 Papworth St. Police say two suspects shattered glass to get into the VFW post on April 4 and then stole an ATM.

According to police, the two suspects broke in just after 12:30 a.m. and made their way to the bar area. Once there, they removed the ATM before fleeing. Police say the ATM has since been recovered.

The first suspect was described as a man with a thin build and the second suspect was described as a man with a large, heavy build who "appears to have some difficulty walking."
