That honor comes just as DoodleBug announced a "Double Your DoodleBug Dollars" fundraiser in April. The Scott and Trish Charitable Fund is generously providing matching dollars to donations made at www.doodlebugworkshop.com. These funds will help grow the vocational program for individuals and the Adult Day Program and high school transition sessions for groups at DoodleBug Workshop. DoodleBug Workshop welcomes visitors on Saturday, April 13 for a Sidewalk Sale from 10am-3pm at 314 S. Main Street in Wheaton. And, from 11am-1pm, Elsa will be at DoodleBug to pose for photos and sign autographs as part of Downtown Wheaton Character Trail.

Executive Director Sarah Starke founded DoodleBug Workshop in 2017 because she knew people with special needs like her son Alex were capable of learning to use tools to create unique and beautiful products. They also gain self confidence and social skills and become more integrated into community life.
Starke said, " We would not be where we are today without the help and support of our community and for that we are deeply grateful."
