Blood Drive Scheduled At Cantigny Park Tuesday
The blood drive is part of the "A Pint For Kim" drive to raise 100,000 pints of blood.
WHEATON, IL — Kim Sandford started the "A Pint for Kim" blood donation drive after a 10-day stay at the hospital in which she required multiple blood transfusions. As part of "A Pint for Kim" and to respond to the urgent need for blood donations amid the coronavirus crisis, a blood drive will be held in Cantigny Park Tuesday.
The goal of "A Pint for Kim" is to raise 100,000 pints of blood and the need for donations is crucial right now, according to Versiti Blood Centers, which is heading up Tuesday's blood drive. The blood drive will be held between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. at Cantigny Park, 1S151 Winfield Rd.
